POSITION OVERVIEW:  To provide the best quality customer service in an accurate and professional manner while assisting customers and members with their account questions. Regular duties involve: verifying delivered gallons from LP and RF tickets, entering customer payments and deposits into the bank, daily reconciliation of fuel gallons at all cardtrol locations, bookkeeping of C-Store sales and receipts, reconcile daily credit card receivables from all locations, entering and payment of vendor invoices, entering customer billing from shop departments, process monthly statements to customers, and much more.

Auto Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW: Providing a wide variety of auto repair services to customers, taking each job seriously while gaining trust from customers and earning their continuous business. Regular duties involve: inspecting vehicle engines and their mechanical and electrical components to diagnose issues correctly, conduct routine maintenance work, schedule future maintenance sessions, repair or replace broken parts, and much more.

C-Store Team Member

Position Overview: To assist customers on a daily basis by providing a positive experience each time they stop at one of our stores. Regular duties involve: greeting and assisting customers with a positive attitude, creating a positive and fun store environment, operating the cash register, assisting the manager with inventory duties, stocking and maintaining shelves, and much more.

Certified Energy Specialist

Position Overview: Calling on area farmers and business owners to ensure they have the energy products and services  they need to keep their operations successful and running. Regular duties involve: building and maintaining good relationships with current members and customers, conduct sales calls on existing and potential fuel, propane and oil customers, record sales, attend regular energy training seminars, be knowledgeable of company programs and incentives, communicate and market programs by distributing sales promotions, and much more.

Cenex® Lubricant Terminal Team

POSITION OVERVIEW: Package and deliver oil for our customers and other co-ops within our service region while using the best practices to maintain strong customer relationships. Regular duties involve: assisting in managing the warehouse, assisting in preparing packaged deliveries, creating and managing efficient delivery routes, managing inventory, delivering bulk oil, and much more.

Diesel Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW: Helping keep our customers and members trucks on the road so they can continue to be efficient in their operations by providing the most reliable diesel service every day. Regular duties involve: following a checklist of inspection procedures, test drive vehicles to diagnose malfunctions, read and interpret diagnostic test results, perform routine maintenance (changing oil, checking batteries, etc.), repair or replace malfunctioning components, provide DOT inspection service, and much more.

Human Resources and Payroll

POSITION OVERVIEW: Ensuring that Cooperative Energy is compliant with government rules and regulations along with making sure that employees are paid on time and that their benefits are correct. Regular duties involve: conducting safety meetings, following up with each location to ensure that OSHA regulations are followed, meet with new employees for orientation, and much more.


POSITION OVERVIEW: Promoting Cooperative Energy and the many services and high quality products we have to offer to our local communities. The marketing and communications specialist assists senior management in developing brand strategies, traveling to C-Store locations to meet with mangers to promote specials, manage company social media pages, maintain Cooperative Energy’s website, developing and managing company promotions, event planning, and much more.

Propane Delivery Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW: To exceed members and customers expectations daily by providing excellent propane delivery service. Regular duties involve: making propane deliveries to our members and customers, keeping track of degree days and keeping delivery cards up to date, following safety regulations, and much more.

Propane Service Technician 

POSITION OVERVIEW: Servicing, installing and repairing propane related accessories and fixtures in a timely and safe manner for commercial, residential and AG customers. Regular  duties involve: installation of propane tanks above and below ground, diagnose and repair heaters, installation of heaters in garages or out buildings, respond to customer emergencies, providing excellent customer service to all customers, and much more.

Refined Fuels Delivery Specialist

POSITION OVERVIEW: To exceed members and customers expectations on a daily basis and to out perform our competition with our quality products and service. Regular duties involve: making gasoline and diesel deliveries, keeping cardtrols stocked on gasoline and diesel, handling multiple products, record and bill all deliveries properly, knowledge of the products we sell, and building long- term customer relationships.

Tire Technician

POSITION OVERVIEW: Providing tire service for cars, trucks, tractors and semi-trailers in a safe and efficient manner. Regular duties involve: installing, repairing, balancing, and rotating tires for passenger and commercial vehicles, patching tires, inspecting wear patterns and ensuring that tires are correctly inflated and properly replaced, perform specialty tire work, manage inventory, perform On-The-Farm tire service and occasional road side service, and much more.

Transportation Department

POSITION OVERVIEW: Delivering refined fuels and propane to CEC Bulk Plants and C-Stores along with direct deliveries to our customers. In the off season they assist other transportation companies deliver their products. Regular duties involve: transporting loads of fuel or propane that are 5,000 gallons or more, recording measurements of the tank before and after delivery, and much more.
