Cooperative Energy Company Donates $500 to Support Hero Haven’s Mission
Sibley, IA — Jan. 30, 2026— Cooperative Energy Company has made a donation to Hero Haven, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving veterans, law enforcement officers, and first responders through restorative outdoor experiences.
Hero Haven provides outdoor opportunities designed to help those who serve our communities step away from daily pressures, reconnect with others who share similar experiences, and find renewal through time spent in nature. The organization focuses on creating safe, meaningful experiences that support mental well-being and personal connection.
“When possible, we try to support organizations whose missions align with our values,” said Dustin Jones, CEO of Cooperative Energy Company. “Hero Haven is doing important work for veterans and first responders, and we appreciate the opportunity to contribute.”
“This donation will directly support heroes from four states who will be traveling to Texas in May to participate in a Hero Haven hog hunt,” said Ned Hodgson, board member of Hero Haven.
The sponsorship will help Hero Haven continue offering outdoor adventures that foster camaraderie, resilience, and healing for veterans, police officers, and first responders.
